Landfill and biogas
Geotech currently supplies the gas monitoring equipment for nearly 50% of UK anaerobic digestion. We are market leaders in UK landfill gas monitoring, landfill compliance and biogas analysis, as well as supplying proven landfill leachate management equipment. Robust, accurate and fully certified fixed and portable gas analysis instruments for measurement of methane (CH4), carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), oxygen (O2), hydrogen sulphide (H2S) and other gases are backed up by experienced technical support and ISO17025 approved service and calibration.
CO2 monitoring
Our G100 portable carbon dioxide (CO2) monitors are used to verify incubator conditions. Also measuring oxygen (O2), temperature and humidity, these versatile and robust instruments are used by laboratories worldwide. The G110 and G150 are used in a range of CO2 monitoring applications, from beer dispense to illegal immigrant detection.
Medical gas monitoring
Background and time weighted average levels of anaesthetic gas are measured by the portable G200 and piped medical gases, specifically nitrous oxide (N2O) and oxygen (O2), can be verified with the G210. Other critical gases, such as carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2) can also be detected and alarms set.
Land remediation
Contamination can arise in a number of circumstances, such as fuel spills and fuel tank or chemical plant leaks. Gas and water monitoring are essential to detect and identify contamination. Geotech has developed equipment for each stage of the remediation process, from leak detection to treatment of contaminated liquid.
Coal mine methane
Geotech has developed gas monitoring products to optimise power generation from the natural gas released during mining, as well as for low concentration methane purposes, which can be beneficial for carbon credit purposes.
