Important Information: GEM500 Analyser

From the end of December 2007 Geotechnical Instruments will no longer be offering support and service for the GEM500 Gas Analyser.

The reasons for this decision are are follows:

• The GEM500 is not ATEX Certified:- Legislation enforced by the health and safety executive relating to use of this equipment in explosive environments, means that we must endeavour to supply equipment which meets these guidelines.
• Technological Advances:- As technology moves forward, the parts required to service the GEM500 are becoming obsolete and expensive, and as such, it is becoming less commercially viable for our customers to maintain this range of analyser.

This instrument has been supserseeded by two generations of gas analyser in the last 12 years, the GEM2000 and the latest model the GEM2000 Plus.
